ophelia-brijimh

Brij Cappo, Mother, Artist and Yoga Instructor Extraordinaire as The Noblewoman of Denmark… there’s rue for you, and here’s some for me; we may call it herb of grace o’ Sundays; O, you must wear your rue with a difference”.  Rue is well known for its symbolic meaning of regret, but the herb is also used to treat pain, bruises and has abortive qualities.

Titania’s Littlest Fay…

the sleeping faerieIs all tuckered out after her most busy day

Over hill, over dale,
Thorough bush, thorough brier,
Over park, over pale,
Thorough flood, thorough fire,
I did wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moon’s sphere;
And I serve the fairy queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green.
The cowslips tall her pensioners be:
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours,
In those freckles live their savours:
I must go seek some dewdrops here
And hang a pearl in every cowslip’s ear.
Farewell, thou lob of spirits; I’ll be gone:
Our queen and all our elves come here anon.

Rose’s Bloom

rubs

“The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.”
